Quick, there is a city lockdown coming, grab as many toilet rolls as you can! We were shocked to see the panic buying that surrounding some recent city lockdowns. Especially the desire of people to hoard toilet paper!

While stuck at home (due to these lockdowns) we decided to make a mobile game to poke fun at the situation and educate people into how long their toilet roll stash would actually last them. Over a few weeks we created Toilet Paper Crisis, an infinite runner-style game where players could race down lanes in a shopping aisle.

Within Toilet Paper Crisis players try to collect as many toilet paper rolls as possible whilst dodging other shoppers and obstacles. If you hit another shopper or obstacle then your run would end, presenting the collect rolls and how many days (based on average user consumption) this amount of toilet paper would last (many years in some cases).

This fun educational experience was intended to entertain people during their city lockdown at the same time as highlighting the silliness of excessive toilet paper hoarding.

You can try the game for yourself on the Google Play Store.
