Augmented reality (AR) is truly exciting technology due to the immersive experience it can provide and the accessibility of the technology. Smartphones and tablets are able to use AR to place a 3D computer-generated object in front of you as if it were sitting in the real-world. This lets you walk around it, zoom in close, and understand the 3D nature of the object or simulation. This personal experience and increased ability to explore the content makes AR so well suited to educational experiences, property displays and marketing.
We have used AR for a range of projects from assisting potential buyers to visualise apartments from a floor plan, to education apps, to gaming experiences. However different the applications they share a similarity in that the viewer quickly understands the content and they remember the message.

At Vantage Interactive we have been involved with augmented reality (AR) since its early beginnings. We are huge fans of the technology and how it can bring a computer-generated element into the real world. Over the years we have developed AR applications for Apple iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices (phone and tablet).
Some of these AR experiences have been spatially anchored where they use image processing from the devices camera to keep the virtual 3D object placed in the same part of the real-world scene. Other AR experiences we have developed have used image recognition of a picture or QR code to activate the AR pop-up, which is then anchored to the image. We look forward to working with you to develop the another AR experience and keep showing people the wonders of augmented reality.
