Viva Health Group is a leading occupational therapy and health and safety company based in Queensland Australia. They came to us with a simple brief – To find a way to teach office workers the fundamentals of a sound workstation set-up in less than 6 minutes. It had to be short, snappy and fun learning media that organisations can introduce to their employees to meet their safety training obligations for new hire and annual screening. It also needed to be integratable as part of an online e-learning course that the client was setting up. The solution was to create a fun interactive game that office workers could play using a web browser.
Hence, the birth of “Jessie” – a hard-working finance assistant whose workstation set up is completely against the principles of ergonomics! The objective of the game is for the player to adjust Jessie’s workstation so that her posture, health and morale improves. We spent 6 weeks from concept to final delivery of a SCORM compliant serious game.
