Office Ergonomics Training Game

This office workstation ergonomics training module uses online gaming technology so participants can interact with the character (Jessie) and help her with her workstation set-up. Users can observe that with an incorrect workstation set-up, Jessie will become unhappy, sore, and visibly fatigued through time. The application allows the user to rearrange the office workstation equipment improve Jessie’s postures and movements. Adjustments in the right direction are rewarded with a happier and healthier Jessie. However, adjustments in the wrong direction add to Jessie’s agitation. This gamified experience helps engage trainees to quickly learn about workstation set-up and for managers to meet safety obligations via the real-time reporting.
